Haifa is built on a mountain, which gives a production four distinct visual worlds within a short drive: historic Hadar below, the German Colony and the port, the Carmel slopes with open sea views, and Bat Galim beach. Instead of moving the crew between cities, you can shoot several completely different scenes from one base.
Hadar is where productions go when they need period texture — lanes, inner courtyards and private entrances. The Carmel gives the exact opposite: bright rooms, balconies and an open sea view from height. Yafo Street and the port give a working urban texture, and Bat Galim gives you the sea.
These are live apartments we run ourselves, not a directory of other people's homes. That means the answer on availability, on getting gear in and on what may be done inside comes from one person — not after three calls to an owner who is not picking up.
Lanes, period building and courtyards. Masada Lane — an apartment with a courtyard and private entrance in the heart of Hadar, 2 bedrooms, sleeps up to 7. It suits period scenes, urban drama and fashion shoots that need texture rather than modern polish.
Light and height. Carmel Vista (Harduf 3) — 3 bedrooms, sleeps up to 7, open sea view and free parking. Carmel Nest (Hantke 28, Ahuza) — 107 sqm, 3 bedrooms, sleeps up to 8, a bright living room with wide windows, assigned private parking and an elevator in the building (about 12 steps on the route are unavoidable — worth knowing when you are carrying gear).
Port Terrace (Derekh Yafo 73) — 90 sqm, 2 bedrooms, sleeps up to 8, a balcony and a city-and-port view. Paid parking in the building. The right choice when you need a window that shows Haifa working.
Bat Galim Studio — a compact unit next to the beach and Rambam Medical Center, sleeps up to 4. It suits a focused shoot, an interview, or a makeup and crew room beside another set.
Three units on Hantke Street form one sleeping cluster: Hantke 28 (Carmel Nest, up to 8, and the studio, up to 4 — in the same building) and Hantke 22 (Horev Terrace, up to 10, on the same street). Together, up to 22 guests in a single booking. See large group hosting in Haifa.
