Akko is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The narrow lanes, the Crusader walls, the scents of the Arab market and fresh fish straight from the port — this isn't just a vacation, it's an experience that stays with you.
When you come to Akko, a private apartment within walking distance of the Old City is the perfect choice. Nothing compares to the comfort of your own space, a home kitchen, and stepping straight out to the market in the morning.
Wander the Crusader walls and tunnels (paid entry), buy spices in the old market, eat hummus and fresh fish, swim at the magical beach, and visit the Al-Jazzar mosque plaza. For kids — the famous Jukhader ice cream is a must.
Akko is beautiful year-round, but May–September is the perfect time — warm sea, pleasant evenings and festivals in the city. For holidays like Hanukkah and Passover, book early.

Old City & port: a few steps from the market, the Crusader walls and the fish restaurants. Best for first-time visitors who want the history and the atmosphere right at the doorstep.
Seafront & Argaman Beach: apartments with sea views and a short walk to the water. Best for summer stays and families who want the beach close by.
North Akko & the Bahá'í Gardens: quieter residential streets with easier parking, near the Bahjí gardens. Best for longer stays and guests arriving by car.
Couples: a boutique sea-view suite with a balcony — intimate and central.
Families: a multi-bedroom apartment with a safe room, sleeping 8–10, with a full kitchen and space for the kids.
Groups & extended families: our largest Akko apartments host up to 12 guests across 3–4 bedrooms — ideal for a reunion or a friends' weekend.
For summer (July–August), the Jewish holidays and the Akko Fringe Theatre Festival at Sukkot, Akko accommodation fills up weeks in advance. For spring and autumn weekends, a week or two ahead is usually enough. Midweek and off-season, same-week stays are often still available — just call and we'll check live availability.

Parking in the Old City: the Old City lanes are narrow and mostly closed to traffic, so parking is in car parks and on the perimeter, and you continue on foot. If you're arriving by car and want to park beside your apartment, the residential streets in the north of the city and the promenade area are far easier — a real consideration when choosing where to stay.
Distances and walking: Akko is compact. It's roughly two kilometres from the Old City and port to the promenade and Argaman Beach, and most of the main sights — the walls, the market, the Templars' Tunnel and the Knights' Halls — can comfortably be done on foot in a single day.
Season and price: accommodation prices in Akko move mainly with the season and the size of your group rather than the type of property. July–August, Sukkot and the festival are the peak; midweek in the shoulder seasons is usually the best value. If your dates are flexible, it's worth checking two ranges — tell us both and we'll give you an honest answer on which is better.
