All other apartments have a shelter or adjacent protected space just 5 to 90 seconds away.

Housing for wartime — a mid-term temporary solution
During a military operation or war, many families look for temporary housing outside the danger zone — not for a single night, but for weeks or months, until it's safe to return home. That's exactly what we provide: furnished, fully equipped apartments with a protected space, for mid-term rent, in relatively safe cities in northern and central Israel.
The apartments suit families evacuated from border towns or risk areas, workers relocated temporarily, and anyone who needs a home with a safe room for a period. We're flexible on length of stay, issue a tax invoice, and match the apartment to family size, proximity to schools and work, and budget.

Safe room or shelter — the difference, and why it matters
A safe room (mamad) is a room inside the apartment built to Home Front Command standards to protect against rockets, missiles and shrapnel. The key advantage: immediate access, without leaving home, and without depending on neighbors or a public space. A shelter or shared protected space (miklat) is on the building floor, in the basement or nearby — and you must reach it within the "defense time" set by Home Front Command for the area.
Defense times are set and updated by Home Front Command based on the town's distance from the border. For exact verification per town, check the Home Front Command portal. As of July 2026.

On the Home Front Command portal, check how many seconds you have in the target town to reach a protected space (e.g. Haifa and the north about 90 seconds, Akko about 45 seconds as of June 2026).
Prefer an in-unit safe room
An in-unit safe room is the preferred protected space — immediate access without leaving home. We have 8 such apartments.
Check the time to the protected space
If there's no in-unit safe room, make sure the shelter is well within the defense time. In all our apartments — 5 to 90 seconds.
