Film & photo shoot locations
apartments, villas and complexes
with crew beds in the same booking

A production needs two things that usually come from two different suppliers: somewhere to shoot, and somewhere for the crew to sleep. Here they are the same place and the same contact — designer apartments in Akko and Haifa, a villa with a pool in Netanya, a house overlooking the Sea of Galilee in Migdal and a cabin complex on the Carmel. All directly managed, no middlemen.

Properties that work for a production

Every property here is managed by us directly — there is no absent owner to persuade and no agency in between. The prices shown are nightly stay rates; a shoot day is quoted separately, based on the production.

What a shoot location means here

A shoot location is a private property rented to a production in order to film in it — stills, corporate video, commercial, series, feature or documentary — for hours or a few days, not for sleeping. In Israel most locations are offered through marketplaces that broker between the property owner and the production. There is no such link here: every property is under our management, you book with us directly, and the person who answers on availability is the same person responsible for the site on shoot day.

The second gap, and the one that saves a production the most time and money, is accommodation. A production shooting in the north usually arrives with a crew that needs to sleep near set. Instead of sourcing a hotel separately, you can hold apartments for the crew in the same conversation — and in some cases in the very building you are shooting in.

We manage properties in five cities — Akko, Haifa, Isfiya, Netanya and Migdal — so the look of the set is not limited to one style: a ninth-floor balcony over the sea, a historic lane in Hadar, a villa with a pool, a house facing the Sea of Galilee, or wooden cabins in the Carmel forest.

Two tracks, one booking

Which one fits you

Track A — location: you rent the property for a shoot day or half day. The crew comes in, shoots and leaves. No overnight stay.

Track B — crew accommodation: you are shooting somewhere else in the north and house the crew with us for the nights of the shoot. See production crew accommodation.

Both: shoot in one property and sleep in another under the same management — or, in Akko and Haifa, in the same building.

What sets the price of a shoot day

We do not publish a fixed shoot-day rate, because two productions in the same property are almost never the same. A quote is built from:

A producer who sends all six details in one message gets an exact quote without another round of questions.

What to check before you commit to a location — a checklist

This list holds for any location, ours or not. It is worth running through before you sign:

Why the north

Northern Israel offers a production a visual range that is hard to get within an hour of the centre: the walls and port of Akko, the Bahai Gardens and the slopes of the Carmel, the lanes of Hadar, the bay beaches, the Carmel forests and Druze villages, and beyond them the Sea of Galilee and the Galilee hills. In practice, a production based in Akko or Haifa can shoot several completely different looks without moving the crew to another city.

This is where accommodation connects: the same manager who holds the location holds the apartments. See crew accommodation in northern Israel, and property owners who want their home to work as a location — here.

Who we are

SHOOKROON GROUP has managed apartments and hosting complexes across northern and central Israel since 2016, end to end — operations, cleaning, maintenance and hosting. The properties shown here are live properties we run ourselves, not a directory of other people's homes. We have hosted many production crews, and a series was filmed in one of our apartments.

FAQ — film and photo shoot locations

What exactly is a shoot location?
A shoot location is a private property — an apartment, villa or complex — rented to a production in order to film in it, for hours or a few days, rather than to sleep in it. The production arrives with crew and equipment, shoots, and returns the property to its original state at the end of the day.
Which of your properties are open to filming?
Every property under our management can be considered as a location — in Akko, Haifa, Isfiya, Netanya and Migdal. Actual availability depends on that property's booking calendar for the date you asked about, so the answer is always given against a specific date.
How much does a shoot day cost?
There is no fixed rate card. A quote is built from the type of production, the length of the shoot, crew size, whether furniture needs to be moved, use of power and equipment, and any need for parking or accommodation. Send those details and you will get an exact quote.
Can we both sleep in the property and film in it?
Yes, and it happens often — mainly on multi-day shoots. You can rent a property for both, or shoot in one property and sleep in another under our management. In Akko and Haifa some properties sit in the same building, which cuts travel to almost nothing.
Is there parking for production vehicles?
Some properties have adjoining private parking and others have street parking or a public car park nearby. It varies by property, is listed on each property page, and we confirm it with you before committing, based on how many vehicles you are bringing.
Can we move furniture or change the apartment?
This is agreed case by case, per production and per property. The rule is that the property comes back at the end of the shoot day exactly as it was received, and that any change is agreed in writing in advance rather than improvised on site.
Do you work with production companies and fixers?
Yes. Booking is direct with us, there is a single point of contact for all coordination, and a tax invoice is issued. That suits local productions as well as fixers hosting an incoming foreign production.
How far in advance should we book?
There is no fixed minimum. In practice, the closer the date is to a weekend or a holiday season, the lower the availability — particularly in the larger properties. The fastest way to check is to send the date and headcount on WhatsApp.
Do you also source locations that are not yours?
No. We rent out only properties under our own management, so that we can stand behind what happens on site on the day. If your property suits productions and you would like us to manage it, see the page for property owners.
Do you have experience with productions?
Yes. We have hosted many production crews, and a series was filmed in one of our apartments. Beyond that, we have run these properties day to day since 2016, so access, cleaning, maintenance and an available contact are precisely what we do.

Looking for a location for your production?

Send us the date, the type of production and the crew size — we will come back with availability and a tailored quote, including crew accommodation if you need it.
